Biography

Jean joined UBC, Inc. in October, 2000 and has recently completed her certification in Biofeedback services. Her primary responsibilities include case coordination services, teaching classes in Stress, Pain Managment and Nutrition, conducting group relaxation sessions and working with individual clients in the Return to Work / Pain Management Program. She is also a member of the UBC Safety Committee.

Education

Jean Emanuel holds a BA in Education, a MA in Psychology and is a registered nurse and a certified biofeedback therapist in Washington State. Her primary focus for twelve years has been working with chronic pain and stress related disorders.

Professional Background

Jean has over 25 years’ experience as a registered nurse with specific skills in clinical assessment, biofeedback, health education and program development. Prior to joining UBC, Jean worked as a nurse and biofeedback therapist for eleven years at an interdisciplinary pain management program. Other work experiences include medical case management, quality assurance coordination, and medical research.
