Biography

Gil is active in outpatient treatment program development and is an outpatient program admissions evaluator. His twenty-seven years of physical therapy experience include serving as Director of Physical Medicine Services at Valley Medical Center and owning and directing several private physical therapy clinics. Gil is active in the Washington State Physical Therapy Association and was the 1995 recipient of their Distinguished Service Award. His association participations include Region Three Director, President - Private Practice Special Interest Group, Private Practice Social Interest Group, Referral for Profit liaison, and WSPTA.

Education

Gil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Washington State University and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. In 1995 he became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics.

Professional Background

Gil has served on National APTA task force on utilization. Other professional memberships include the Private Practice Section and Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association, and the Industrial Rehabilitation Association of Washington.
