Biography

A Seattle native who joined UBC, Inc. in 1994, Teresa has worked in the out patient physical therapy arena since 1979 with all ages and types of patients.

Education

Teresa graduated from Green River Community College with an Associate of Arts degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Recent additional course work includes current research information regarding knee, shoulder, low back and neck injuries and updated medication strategies.

Professional Background

Teresa is an American Council of Exercise (ACE) certified aerobic instructor and teaches multiple step aerobic and other fitness classes each week. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, in 1992 Teresa has been involved in bringing the PTA licensure issue to the legislature. She continues to support and be involved in general APTA legislative issues.
