When I worked as a roofer, I broke both bones in the forearm, along with some bones in the wrist.  The surgeon placed metal plates in my forearm, but now, since I’ve regained so much strength in my hands, the surgeon wants to remove the plates.

I had great success at UBC because of the positive atmosphere.  Both the fellow clients and the clinicians were supportive.  UBC has made me strong.  But, really, it all depends on you, whether or not you’ll get well after an injury.  Even if you have a thousand people to support you, if you don’t want to get well, you simply won’t get well.
